Are you someone who thrives in a people-centered role, enjoys variety in your day-to-day work, and finds satisfaction in building strong, healthy workplaces? We’re looking for a Human Resource Generalist who will be a key player in supporting employees and advancing the organization’s mission through thoughtful HR practices and programs.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of HR operations—leading recruitment efforts, facilitating interviews, and ensuring new hires feel welcomed and prepared through engaging onboarding and orientation processes. You’ll work closely with managers to understand staffing needs and help them find the right talent for their teams. From conducting background checks and verifying employment eligibility to implementing recognition programs, you’ll have a hand in shaping the employee experience from start to finish.

Day-to-day, you’ll help ensure our HR programs run smoothly—whether it’s administering pay and benefits, tracking compliance and training, supporting performance evaluations, or assisting with employee relations. You may oversee scheduling and workflow for junior HR staff and play a role in conducting investigations, addressing workplace concerns, or guiding disciplinary conversations with fairness and professionalism.

You’ll also help the company stay aligned with current laws, best practices, and trends in human resources, regularly reviewing policies to ensure compliance and competitiveness.  As someone who values both people and process, you’ll balance big-picture HR strategies with the ability to handle day-to-day inquiries, provide support to staff and supervisors, and solve problems as they arise.

What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • One year of HR Management experience (preferred)
  • SHRM-CP (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines; strong time management skills
  • Task prioritization and task delegation experience
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly become proficient in HRIS and talent management systems
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds
  • Ability to access and navigate each department within the organization.
