For the months of July and August we are looking for energetic, talented hires to introduce our client to potential residential clients. Matanuska Telecom Association (MTA) is a technology trailblazer and community cornerstone. The Role: Community Canvasser
Are you outgoing, friendly, and ready to hit the pavement with purpose? MTA is looking for upbeat, people-loving individuals to join their Community Engagement Team as Canvassers/Doorknockers. You'll work 4-hour shifts during the week, chatting with neighbors and making meaningful connections.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Team up and head out to pre-planned neighborhoods for some good old-fashioned face-to-face outreach.

Strike up friendly conversations, help residents complete a quick survey, and connect them to the MTA team for more info.

Be the approachable, enthusiastic face of MTA—every door is an opportunity!

Wrap up your shift with a quick debrief to share insights and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 18+.
- Prior experience in sales, canvassing, or cold calling preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and working outdoors.
- Presentable, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Passionate about community engagement and technology.
