    GDM-AE’s story brings together two firms: GDM, Inc., established in Alaska in 1974, and Hood River Consulting Engineers, founded in Hood River, Oregon, in 2014. In 2019, Hood River Consulting Engineers acquired and merged with GDM, Inc., forming GDM-AE.

    Today, GDM-AE is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing architecture, engineering, and project management services to federal clients across the United States, with a strong concentration in healthcare infrastructure. With offices in Anchorage and North Pole, Alaska; Vancouver, Washington; and Albuquerque, New Mexico and professionals strategically located throughout the country we serve every geographic region with local insight, national reach, and a commitment to lasting value.
