Last summer, we broke ground. This summer, we celebrate the opening of two innovative programs that are aimed at giving young people experiencing homelessness what they need: job training and housing.
“This is more than just a celebration to an end of construction. On Friday, we are revolutionizing how we as a community can interrupt the path to chronic homelessness,” said Alison Kear, Executive Director of Covenant House Alaska. “The nation is watching us as we work with our community partners to launch a set of programs that offer high-demand job training and transitional housing services.”
In attendance and available for interview will be President of Covenant House International Kevin Ryan and other community dignitaries.
