ANCHORAGE — April 9, 2025 —
Registration is now open for the Alaska Oil and Gas Association’s annual conference. The conference is scheduled for Aug. 27-28, 2025, at Anchorage’s Dena’ina Center. The conference will kick off with an employee appreciation event on Aug. 26.
AOGA’s annual conference gathers industry and business leaders, government officials, and public policy experts to discuss key issues impacting Alaska’s oil and gas sector, environmental stewardship, and technological advancements shaping the future of energy in the state.
An early bird registration discount is available until June 30, 2025. A discounted rate is offered for government and education attendees, and a limited number of complimentary registrations are available for students.

Nominations for the prestigious
AOGA Industry Awards are also open. The awards provide an opportunity to recognize exceptional contributions and innovation within Alaska's oil and gas industry.
Categories include:
- Contractor of the Year for Safety Performance
- Rising Star Award
- Project of the Year for Environmental Stewardship and Innovation
- Marilyn Crockett Lifetime Achievement Award
Teacher grant available again in 2025
AOGA offers an annual grant of $2,500 to an Alaska teacher who proposes the most thought-provoking, engaging, and informative curricular program aimed at educating students on Alaska’s oil and gas industry.
Applications are open for 2025.
Funds must be used to support the implementation of an oil and gas-focused educational program, whether covering material costs, facilitating field trips, or providing other growth opportunities.
