Nominations open for Anchorage ATHENA Society Class of 2025

Recognition luncheon set for March 17 @Hotel Captain Cook

Nominations are open for the Anchorage ATHENA Society Class of 2025 with applications due on Monday, Feb. 10 at 5 pm. 

Each year, the Anchorage ATHENA Society, in partnership with the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, recognizes several outstanding women for their leadership and excellence in business. The criterion for nominations includes all of the following:

• Actively giving back to the Anchorage community through community service
• Actively mentoring and assisting other women to reach their full potential in business

Applications are available on the Anchorage ATHENA Society website at athenaanchorage.org/nominations. When possible, nominators are encouraged to collaborate with their nominees to ensure all relevant and valuable information is included. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at 5 pm. The nominations are screened by a selection committee comprised of past award recipients, and winners will be announced on Feb. 20.

The annual Anchorage ATHENA Society recognition luncheon is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at the Hotel Captain Cook. Doors open at 11:30 am and the program runs from 12 noon to 1 pm. This year’s luncheon chairs are Deborah Bonito and Laile Fairbairn. The keynote speaker is Carol Gore, past president/CEO of the Cook Inlet Housing Authority and an Anchorage ATHENA Society Leadership Award recipient.
