Nominate a hero for the 25th Annual American Red Cross of Alaska Real Heroes Awards!

The 25th Annual American Red Cross Real Heroes Awards will take place on Tuesday, March 25th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

Did you take part in a wilderness rescue over the summer? Have you witnessed a good Samaritan saving a life in the past year? Do you know someone that works tirelessly each and every day for the benefit of Alaska communities? If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you!
 
The Red Cross of Alaska is seeking nominations to recognize Alaskans who have done something extraordinary over the past year, either by saving a life one day or tirelessly working each and every day for the benefit of Alaska communities. Maybe you'd like to nominate a friend, neighbor, colleague or a first responder? Please feel free to share with your colleagues, friends, family, and partners all over Alaska.
 
There are 10 hero categories, including wilderness rescue, military/law enforcement rescue and transportation safety, and the submission deadline is Monday, December 9, 2024! Mark your calendar for Thursday, December 12th at noon at the American Red Cross of Alaska headquarters at 232 East 8th Ave for our Real Heroes Awards Selection Committee, also! As a valued partner, you and your colleagues are invited!
