Furniture Bank Now Open!

Shiloh Community Housing, Inc.'s anticipated Furniture Bank has been operational since May 31, 2024. The first of its kind for the Anchorage community!

The furniture bank provides a free shopping experience for anyone in need of furniture and household items. The furniture bank will be open to all members of the community. A self-qualifying document is required to be completed. Referrals from service providers are welcomed!

Donations are already rolling in. The furniture bank accepts gently used furniture. However, Shiloh does not accept broken, chipped, stained, incomplete, unusable, or recalled items. Additionally, they do not accept food, clothing, toys, books, exercise equipment, and various other goods.

Along with furniture donations, Shiloh is looking for volunteers who have trucks or other large vehicles. Help is needed to pick up and transport donated items from/to homes and to the furniture bank.
