ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Rasmuson Foundation welcomes two program officers and a partnership officer to its Grantmaking and Partnerships group.
Joining the Foundation’s team of program officers, Molly Parkan and Calvin Chang will support increased outreach and guidance to Alaska’s nonprofits and local governments, including tribes.
Molly joins the Foundation as a program officer, bringing with
her more than a decade of experience leading grant programs in
both federal and nonprofit settings. Previously, she served with
the Federal Emergency Management Agency, managing complex
grant portfolios supporting Alaska infrastructure projects,
overseeing regulatory compliance, and collaborating with tribal
nations, government partners, and community stakeholders to
advance equitable access to funding.
Calvin also joins as a program officer, coming from the
Municipality of Anchorage, where he led the 49th State Angel
Fund and Anchorage C-PACER, managing venture capital
investments in Alaska startups and small businesses, as well as
energy-efficiency financing for commercial properties. He has
also worked in international development with the Center for
International Private Enterprise in Washington, D.C.
As program officers, Calvin and Molly are available to assist eligible Alaska organizations in identifying appropriate grant programs for potential projects and better understand the Foundation’s grant process.
Gretchen Fauske is the Foundation’s new partnership officer,
responsible for building connections in and outside of Alaska. In
this role, she will serve as a resource for partners interested in
funding Alaska-based projects. Gretchen previously served as
the director of special programs and strategy for the Alaska
Small Business Development Center, where she oversaw
statewide programs like Buy Alaska and the State Small Business
Credit Initiative Technical Assistance Program.
