National Small Business Week - Nominate Your Favorite Business!

Put an outstanding local small business in the spotlight. You can self-nominate or nominate your favorite business today!  Nominate them for an award for 2025 National Small Business Week.  All nominations must be submitted electronically no later than 4:00 p.m. EDT on December 5, 2024. The awards will be presented during the National Small Business Week awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on May 4-5, 2025, and locally here in Alaska.

In addition to national awards the Alaska District Office also recognizes small businesses in three categories for their critical contributions to Alaska and its communities.  You can self-nominate or nominate your favorite business today!

Submit Alaska Local District Office Awards
  An individual who has fulfilled a commitment to the advancement of small business opportunities for minority business owners may be nominated or a minority-owned small business owner has experienced the rewards and difficulties of owning their own business. Champion nominees may or may not be small business owners.
  An individual who has fulfilled a commitment to the advancement of small business opportunities for veterans of the U.S. armed forces may be nominated or a veteran small business owner who has experienced the rewards and difficulties of owning their own business.  Champion nominees may or may not be veterans.
  An individual who has fulfilled a commitment to the advancement of women’s business ownership may be nominated or a women-owned small business owner who has experienced the rewards and difficulties of owning their own business. Champion nominees may or may not be small business owners.
