Crafted in Alaska 2024 Call for Submissions

The Anchorage Museum's annual Thanksgiving weekend craft event happens 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30.

We are accepting applications from artists whose work is crafted and/or designed in Alaska. Submission deadline is June 30. Notifications will be issued Monday, July 15.

We provide:
- festive holiday atmosphere with music 
- free event admission 
- no table fee
- 10' x 10' space, up to two 6' x 2' tables
- access to electrical plug-in
- promotion through our e-newsletter (30,000+ subscribers), social media platforms, museum member postcard mailer 5,000+
- digital promotional communications toolkit for artists

Participants provide:
- table and/or floor display
- lighting
- set-up between 4 p.m. Nov. 27 - 10 a.m. Nov. 29
- means to conduct transactions
- 25% commission on sales, which supports museum programs and exhibitions
