Members Making Change drive raises more than $123,000

Anchorage, Alaska – The Alaska USA Foundation launched the sixth annual Members Making Change donation drive, both online and in Alaska USA Federal Credit Union branches. The drive raised more than $123,000 from the generous donations of Alaska USA members and employees. This was the second year Alaska USA employees joined in the fundraising efforts through a voluntary payroll deduction, donating $71,700 of the total raised.

The Alaska USA Foundation will use the collected funds to assist nonprofit organizations that provide needs-based programs that benefit children, veterans, and active-duty military and their families in the communities the credit union serves.

“This year the Alaska USA Foundation completed an amazing milestone, surpassing more than $2 million distributed to charitable organizations,” said Dan McCue, executive director, Alaska USA Foundation. “This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible generosity of Alaska USA members and employees.”
