Alaska Real ID - Got Yours?

What is a Real ID?
It's an Alaska driver's lilcense or state ID that meets the highest security standards required by federal law.

Beginning October 1, 2020, Alaska residents will need a Real ID, Passport, Military ID or other federally compliant ID to fly on commercial airlines, visit or work on a military base or other federal property.

Is it Mandatory?
No. Your Alaska driver's license or state ID will still be valid for other identification purposes, except flying or visiting federal properties.
