Alaska Chamber Announces Hiring of Kari Nore

Anchorage — March 20, 2023— The Alaska Chamber proudly announces Kari Nore as the new director of external affairs.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Nore served as project manager at the Resource Development Council for Alaska, Inc. for almost three years. Prior to working at RDC, Nore spent six years working in the Alaska State Legislature, advancing her career from scheduler to a senior staff position in the Senate President’s Office. 

Nore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a double minor in French and psychology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. She is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in North Pole.

“Kari in an excellent addition to the Chamber team,” said Kati Capozzi, Alaska Chamber president and CEO. “Her years of experience in business association work and politics makes her uniquely qualified for this position. Her work ethic is legendary, and we are confident she will bring real value to our members.”

In her role with the Alaska Chamber, Nore will oversee all communications and guide advocacy efforts to ensure the priorities of Alaska’s businesses are known and properly considered during policy and regulation creation.
