2025 AMATS Public Participation Plan

We are excited to announce the release of the 2025 Public Participation Plan, which outlines AMATS’s role in transportation planning for the Anchorage Bowl and Chugiak-Eagle River areas.

We will collect comments until Friday, May 16th on this plan. 

Overview
The plan explains AMATS processes in straightforward terms, including:
  1. Goals and objectives.
  2. Organizational structure of committees and staff.
  3. Key planning documents.
  4. Ways for the public to participate and provide input.
How to Review the Document
  • Watch: A short video is available that outlines the layout of the plan.
  • Download: You can download the document for your review
  • Request a Copy: You can request a printed copy by emailing us or leaving a voicemail at 855-925-2801 using Project code 4193, followed by the pound sign.
