Appliance Technician
Full time 40/HRS Monday-Friday
Pay starting at $25-$28/HR DOE
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager
The Appliance Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing general maintenance trade work and repair of appliances located throughout the property.
Previous experience/skills in any related -electrical, HVAC, and plumbing is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in an On-Call emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage, as scheduled in advance.
- Inspect appliances in units to determine damages and the specific Maintenance needs.
- Install new equipment, appliances, fixtures, and parts; modify existing systems.
- Perform repairs on appliances, heating systems, fixtures, switches, and outlets.
- Perform plumbing work, such as cleaning stoppages and replacing fittings.
- Occasionally assist in custodial work.
- Maintain safe, organized, clean work areas and work vehicles.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License
- Ability to be insured by company auto insurance.
- Prior appliance experience or experience in related field required.
- Background will be viewed.
- Drug free environment.
