Job Description
In accordance with The Arc of Anchorage's mission, vision, and core values, the Supported Employment Services Team Leader I/Job Developer is responsible for developing jobs in the community for individuals receiving Supported Employment Services from The Arc of Anchorage. This position also acts as a liaison with The Arc of Anchorage, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, community vendors and/or DSDS in coordination of the placement of individuals seeking supported employment. This position will actively participate in team development and service evaluation. The S.E.S. Team Leader I is responsible for the daily operation of the program by managing its resources in an efficient manner with outcomes that are aligned with the personal outcomes of the individuals served. The S.E.S. Team Leader I is accountable to the person receiving supports, their team, and the agency.

Required:  Associate’s Degree in Human Services. One (1) year social services experience working with people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. One (1) year Supervisory or Management experience. Valid Alaska driver license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB skin test/health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain Certificate in Employment Services.

Bachelor's degree with concentration of study in human services. Two (2) years social services experience working with people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. Two (2) years Supervisory or Management experience.
