Would you like to: 
  • Adhere to organizational compliance standards (including Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures)
  • Provide direct team-based primary care services
  • Maintain and improve professional skills (including attendance at professional conventions, seminars and participation in professional societies)
  • Actively promote the interests of the Clinic
  • Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to services rendered – attend to all billing reports, claims, and correspondence
  • Currently and continue to be licensed by the State of Alaska to practice without restrictions
  • Maintain status as a provider under and in compliance with rules and regulations of the Medicare and Medicaid programs, Managed-Care and direct contracting arrangements, and any other programs in which the Clinic participates
  • Maintain confidentiality of all health records and information as required by law
  • Cooperate with other employees in all reasonable manners
  • Abide by the schedule of hours formulated by the Clinic
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures for agency programs
  • Provide training and educational seminars to staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
You need:  
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Degree from an accredited university 
  • Current Alaska Advance Practice Registered Nurse license
  • Current prescriptive qualifications under the Controlled Substances Registration Certificate requirements of the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with EMR/EMS 
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs 
  • Ability to relate positively and courteously, promoting cohesiveness and cooperation
General:
  • Clear background check
  • Current TB screening test result
  • BLS certification to be obtained within 2 weeks of hire. CPI certification must be obtained when offered through the agency; may substitute current MANDT certificate  for CPI
