Job Description

The Janitor is responsible for the cleaning of The Arc's facility. This position is also responsible for locking and securing the building at the end of the shift. Must have thorough knowledge of janitorial equipment, cleaning supplies and chemicals, and demonstrate the ability to use all safety equipment. This person must be able to work totally independently.


Required: High School Diploma and/or GED. Two (2) years janitorial experience.  Valid Alaska driver license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB  skin test/health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred: Four (4) years janitorial experience.
