Job Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist provides assistance to the Quality Assurance Officer in the development and maintenance of information within the agency’s electronic health records system. Organizes and maintains administrative and computerized files including Therap. user guide, agency forms, corporate documents, policies and procedures, and coordinates grant reporting in AKAIMS for the State of Alaska.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required: High School Diploma/GED. Minimum of one (1) year experience in Administration, Compliance and Quality Assurance, along with Management of an Electronic Health Records System and six (6) months’ advanced-level Microsoft Office Software. Valid Alaska driver license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB skin test/health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred: Associates degree in a Related Field along with two (2) years’ experience in Administration, Compliance and Quality Assurance, along with Management of an Electronic Health Records System and one (1) year advanced-level Microsoft Office Software.
