WorthPoint, the world’s largest online resource for researching, valuing and preserving antiques, art and collectibles, invites treasure seekers on June 18 to join its Treasure Hunt event with Alaska Premier Auctions and Appraisals as they go treasure hunting at several local antique stores. Learn how to identify and value your uncoverings with the help of WorthPoint’s extensive tools and committed experts. Starting at 9 a.m. AKDT, participants will meet at APAA for some coffee and donuts. WorthPoint will then direct individuals to the WorthPoint bus to begin the treasure hunt experience. You will not have to drive yourself, WorthPoint will be your chauffeur for the day as you learn about collectibles, keepsakes and antiques to source and how to gain the skills necessary to identify and value items to resell. You will receive a special goodie bag and a limited edition t-shirt, and lunch will be provided. This event is open to the first 50 people that register.
