This impactful event invites participants to walk a mile in high heels to raise awareness about sexual violence and show solidarity with survivors.

Whether you walk, sponsor, or volunteer, your involvement helps STAR continue providing vital support and education in our community.

The Walk is always an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators of all ages. Join us—and some of Anchorage’s finest—as we take the mile in stride! From police officers and firefighters to construction crews, office professionals, and community leaders, people from all walks of life will be lacing up (and slipping into heels!) to raise awareness and support survivors.

Cheer on your favorites in the lively Best Shoes Contest, catch the excitement as walkers race to the finish line, and see who takes home the coveted titles of Top Fundraising Team and Top Individual Fundraiser. It’s a day full of heart, humor, and high heels—you won’t want to miss it!
