Celebrate the Winter Solstice, enjoy festive holiday trees, and experience healthy outdoor fun for all ages—skiers and non-skiers alike! This cherished Anchorage winter tradition showcases Kincaid’s winter magic and brings the community together to celebrate our city’s beautiful trails.

• Walk or Snowshoe the ski-only Mize Loop (2.5 km) — a rare opportunity!

  • Skiing is encouraged.

  • Wear traction devices for safety—conditions may be slippery.

• Decorated Trees sponsored by local businesses.

• Free Hot Chocolate & Traditional S’mores for all!

• Live Music and cozy warming barrels at the Beer Garden.

• Voting! Cast your vote for your favorite decorated tree—friendly competition among sponsors!

• NSAA Silipints available for $12

  • Includes one free drink (21+ only; ID required)

  • Cash only

  • Adult beverages provided by Raven’s Ring Brewery

🚗 Transportation & Parking

• No Parking inside Kincaid Park — please use free shuttles or bike to the event.

• Free Shuttles run 3:30 PM – 8:30 PM from:

  • 6420 Kulis Drive (farthest lot on the left)

  • Dimond High School (pickup/drop-off at flagpole)

  • Kincaid Elementary

• Last Shuttle to Kincaid: 7:15 PM

• Last Shuttle from Kincaid: 8:30 PM

• Bike Depot available for secure bicycle storage.

• Carpooling and biking highly encouraged!
