Official Juneteenth Anchorage Citywide Celebration

Join a communitywide celebration marked with guest speakers, entertainment, education, and learning our history. Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States! Juneteenth celebrates a point in African American history that change the direction of our future and transcended generations.

Enjoy event speakers, live entertainment, vendor booths, kids' bounce houses, a dance competition, a fashion show, and a health fair, plus a legal clinic, education resources, and more!

Sunday June 16th

Enjoy event speakers, interfaith programming, Father's Day prayer, Citywide Community Choir, vendor booths, kids' bounce houses, the Miss Juneteenth Pageant, a fashion show, praise dancing, and more!
