Anchorage Memorial Park CemeteryIn observance of Memorial Day, we invite our members and community to join us in honoring fallen service members by helping restore and clean veterans’ headstones. This effort ensures their names remain visible and their sacrifices never forgotten.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring:
• Gloves
• 5-gallon buckets & water spray bottles (no pressure washers)
• Natural or nylon bristle scrub brushes (no metal or plastic)
• Sod-cutting tools (lawn knives, pruning saws, box cutters)
• Small hand tools (trowels, pruners, cultivators)

The Legion Auxiliary and VFW will mark graves with flags in advance. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided, with a reception to follow at the American Legion.
