The pandemic highlighted unmet needs in our healthcare system. Even now, many of our emergency rooms regularly operate at or near capacity, and some Anchorage communities don’t have nearby emergency care options at all. In this presentation, you’ll learn about what is driving this trend and hear how Alaska Regional Hospital plans to address it with a proposed freestanding emergency room in South Anchorage. Hear how this will deliver life-saving emergency care to thousands of Alaskans as well as provide economic benefits and job creation.
PLUS, a member presentation from GCI.
