"Make it Monday" forum - Helping Others is an Alaska Tradition
The state's largest private philanthropy is celebrating 70 years of investing in Alaska nonprofits and Tribes. Starting in 1955 with a $125 grant for a motion picture projector, Rasmuson Foundation has since awarded more than half a billion dollars to Alaska organizations. Foundation President and CEO Gretchen Guess will share how Founder Jenny Rasmuson's love for Alaska has carried on for generations and continues to influence the Foundation today. Learn about the Foundation's mission and continued vision and hear an update on recent funding and future grant opportunities.
