University of Alaska Anchorage women’s basketball coach Ryan McCarthy and men’s basketball coach Rusty Osborne will discuss their teams’ preparations and the outlook for the upcoming GCI Great Alaska Shootout – set for Nov. 22-26 at the Alaska Airlines Center – along with the ins and outs of the college basketball world.
The 39th Annual GCI Great Alaska Shootout is an Alaskan Thanksgiving tradition hosted by UAA Athletics at the Alaska Airlines Center. Bringing up top Div. I basketball for Alaskans to enjoy, the GCI Shootout has been delivering the highest level of college basketball competition to the Last Frontier for nearly four decades.
