Robin Dempsey became the Chief Executive Officer in February 2022. Robin has worked at CSS in various capacities for more than eight years, including as Chief Program Officer just prior to becoming CEO. She earned her master’s degree in clinical counseling from Southern New Hampshire University, with a thesis on Trauma-Informed Care in homeless service settings.

Robin began her career with CSS at the Brother Francis Shelter, where she connected with guests, solidifying her commitment to serving the community’s most vulnerable. She brings extensive experience in Trauma-Informed practices and Critical Time Intervention through her background in clinical counseling.

Outside of work, Robin and her family enjoy boating and fishing in Whittier, Alaska, and she cherishes spending time with her husband, three sons, and grandson—who always keep things lively.
