Keeping Kids Safe Online: A Free Family Event

Alaska Children’s Trust is teaming up with GCI and the Alaska State Troopers to launch "K-9 Sunny’s Online Adventures", a brand-new comic featuring Alaska’s favorite four-legged hero focused on keeping kids safe as they navigate the internet and online games. Join us on Tuesday, November 18 at the Loussac Library’s Wilda Marston Theatre for a fun, family-friendly celebration and first look at K-9 Sunny’s exciting online safety adventures! Here's what to expect: ?? 11 a.m. The press is invited to join us for a short press conference (about 30 minutes) featuring ACT and GCI highlighting what Alaskans are seeing and the steps we can take to improve online safety for kids. ?? 11:30 a.m. A “book signing” with Alaska Children's Trust and the real K-9 Sunny — complete with a special paw print “autograph” for your comic! ??
