Empty Bowl Project 2023 - Presented by ConocoPhillips Alaska Bean’s Cafe is excited to bring back our Empty Bowl Project live and in person! This year’s event will be different than previous years, allowing for greater participation throughout March. The special VIP Empty Bowl event will be held Thursday, March 16 from 6-9:00 pm at 49th Brewing Company. This event has a maximum capacity of 250 guests. Tickets will be $100 for general admission and $150 for a ticket including a Bean's Cafe event logo grab bag valued at over $55. Each attendee will receive a clay or wooden bowl of their choice, sample donated soups from all the restaurant participants (listed below), enjoy two complimentary beverages, and additional appetizers. Live music and a silent auction will round out the fun. A community Empty Bowl Event will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 2- 4 pm as part of the Grand Opening of Bean’s Cafe’s new food production facility located at 1524 Ship Avenue. This event will feature live music, soup samplings, light refreshments, and wood or clay bowls while supplies last. This will be a non-ticketed event, but monetary and food donations will be recommended at a $30 value. Lastly, visit the following restaurants during the month of March and when you purchase a bowl of soup, they'll donate $1.00 back to Bean's Cafe. Some of these restaurants will also have gorgeous, pottery, latte mugs for sale! Our restaurant partners are: 49th State Brewing, Altura Bistro, Kriner's Diner, Snow City Cafe, South Restaurant + Coffeehouse and Spenard Roadhouse.
