Downtown Summer Solstice Festival

This year’s festival will be spread throughout downtown Anchorage including fun activities on G Street and E Street, Town Square, and Peratrovich Parks. Stay tuned for an event map that will direct you to all of the fun! Town Square Park will feature dance performances from Sankofa, Polynesian Dance by POA, and Anaya Latin Dance’s Salsa Dance Social. Peratrovich Park will host a performance from the 9th Army Band with lawn games to enjoy. Adjacent to the park activities, E Street, between 4th & 5th Avenues, features a Blood Bank of Alaska Blood Drive and the official Solstice Festival photo booth. G Street between 4th & 5th Aves will have Darwin Theory’s beer garden and a jazz performance from the John Damberg Jazz Quartet, in addition to local art vendors, food options, and The Bucking Salmon. The Kid’s Zone on E Street between 5th & 6th Aves will have an inflatable Obstacle Course, Climbing Wall, Bubble Tower, Face Painting, and more! Other fun options scattered throughout the festival include a Petting Zoo, Local Artist Vendors, Food Trucks, and lots more!
