Diversity Committee Meeting

Happy New Year! In January, we'll hear from Jasmin Smith, Founder of the Umoja CoWorking & Incubator, a co-working and business service space dedicated to empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs by supporting culture, collaboration, community and events. We will discuss the upcoming Annual Black Business Expo and other calendared programs in celebration of Black History Month. The diversity committee's mission is to better serve and advocate for the business community by becoming a more open, inclusive, and diverse organization reflective of the make-up of Anchorage. To accomplish this we envision a board that reflects the demographics of our city and a growing membership of businesses representing the diversity of our business owners and entrepreneurs.
