Let us be your one-stop-shop for all your Spring-Cleaning needs! Join Habitat for Humanity Anchorage on April 20th from 11am to 4pm for our annual Earth Day Recycling Event! We’re bringing several local eco-friendly vendors together to our ReStore on West Northern Lights Blvd to make your Spring Cleaning easier and more impactful. Bring your furniture or construction donations to drop off at the ReStore, recycle your electronics with Total Reclaim, participate in a garden supply exchange with the Botanical Gardens, recycle your plastics into building materials with Alaska Plastic Recovery, donate your old clothes to Fashion Pact, learn about composting with Anchor Gardens, and check out more local vendors! Each household that donates and/or recycles will receive a 15% off coupon to the Habitat ReStore, as well as a raffle ticket that enters them in a drawing for gift cards and prizes with a live drawing at the end of the event. See our website for more information on what you can donate/recycle! Habitatanchorage.org Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We believe in a future Anchorage that has broad and diverse community engagement committed to the elimination of substandard housing and the availability of safe, decent, and affordable places to live for all our neighbors. When you donate, you're building the foundation of a family's brighter future. As part of Habitat for Humanity Anchorage, ReStore is a nonprofit thrift store that accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, home decor, and building supplies from the public. When possible, donated building materials will be used to build and preserve Habitat homes, and extra building materials, along with furniture, appliances, and other items are sold to the public at up to 50% off retail prices. Each donation and purchase make a big difference toward the mission of Habitat for Humanity: to build homes, community, and hope.
