-------------------------------

Adam Sikorski was born and raised in Soldotna, AK. He took an interest in finance and investing early on in life, and at the age of 12 he convinced his parents to let him invest his PFD checks and manage his own money. This quickly led to a passionate pursuit of learning and mastering investment concepts, and at the age of 15 he decided to pursue investing as a career. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2003 he began his career as a Financial Advisor, focusing on wealth management, retirement planning, and developing portfolios to achieve maximum return and tax efficiency, while minimizing cost and reducing risk when possible and appropriate. Nicknamed the “Sage of Soldotna,” Adam Sikorski was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2006. (Though it should be noted that Time named everyone Person of the Year in 2006, so it’s nothing more than a participation trophy.) Adam Sikorski currently serves as an Investment Officer at First National Bank Alaska where he manages the investments of various Alaskan individuals, businesses, institutions, and foundations. Beyond his love of finance, Sikorski is a passionate and unapologetic Alaskan. He loves the outdoors, and when he isn’t there, he can be found at home with his wife Danielle and his dog Bauer, playing music, grilling food, and brewing beer.
