About Mike Lightner

As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

I first discovered John Maxwell in 2008, when a coworker sent me an executive summer of the book “Leadership Gold.” Upon completion, I dug into more and more of John’s materials. Within a few months, I found myself purchasing several of the training kits and used this material to teach John’s philosophy to anyone who would listen. In Feb 2011, when the announcement was made about the John Maxwell Certification Program, I committed myself to attend and in August of 2013, my dream became a reality.

As a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, I have extensive knowledge and experience in team leadership and personnel development. While serving as the Aircrew Flight Equipment Career Field Manager, I oversaw the leadership and management of over 5,200 Total Force (Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Reserved) Airman and civilian employees as well as the inspection, maintenance, acquisition and sustainment of over $8 billion in critical live sustaining aircrew and passenger safety, survival, and chemical defense equipment all around the world.

My passion is to develop leaders who, in turn, have a passion to develop leaders. If this is the type of culture, you would like to create within your organization, then I stand ready to help you achieve your goal.
