Nelida Irvine, Lender Relations Specialist, has been with SBA for 18 years. Nelida’s background includes 30+ years of combined experience in business & economic development, financial management, marketing, outreach, and event management. Prior to working for SBA, Nelida worked for the private sector, state government, and owned a travel and event management small business.
Nelida is the main point of contact for SBA’s Loan Guarantee Program and Surety Bond Program in the State of Alaska. Her main responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting SBA lenders with support and training in SBA loan structuring, processing, servicing, liquidation, eligibility, compliance, and regulations, as well as marketing SBA programs and services to Alaska’s diverse small business communities. In addition to her main responsibilities, Nelida is also the SBA District International Trade Officer. She has a B.A. in Travel and Hospitality Management from Alaska Pacific University and speaks Spanish fluently.
