Event Description:

The Alaska startup community is growing around the state and expanding our economy with new value-added businesses and innovative solutions to our challenges. The next area of growth will come from closer connections between startups and existing businesses that can benefit from the risk-taking and innovative problem-solving methods that startups bring to market opportunities.

This session will look at how "open innovation" collaborative projects between the startup businesses and entrepreneurship programs, and the existing businesses, can help both grow.

This program is a part of Alaska Startup Week being held November 9-18 around the state. Nearly 100 events are expected, featuring startups, innovation workshops, investor development, and a lot of fun. Visit alaska.startupweek.co.
