Event Description:

Online registration is now closed, but tickets are still available at the door.

This program is aimed at business and industry professionals and provides a foundation for creating an inclusive and diverse workplace that recognizes the talents of job seekers and employees with disabilities that improve a company's "bottom line."

Disability is part of the life experience.  Approximately 1 in 5 Americans identify as having some kind of disability and 1 in 10 have a severe disability. If you don't experience a disability, it's highly likely that you know personally or interact with people with disabilities every day. This presentation aims to help professionals make these relationships more valuable for a company's "bottom line" and also personally.

Resources and information on local and national programs to assist businesses with hiring, retaining, and promoting individuals with disabilities will be provided.
