At the YPG's CEO Luncheons, you'll have the unique opportunity to personally network with, hear the CEO's: "How They Got To Where They Are Now" story, as well as ask any questions and advice from the CEO/President/GM of billion dollar corporations, international companies, successful local entrepreneur startups, and leaders with years of experience from various industries across Alaska.
The lunch with the CEO is at a location of their choosing, and the CEO also provides the lunch, so it's always a different experience.
The lunch is limited to create an experience that is much more personal and informal. You'll also be able to network with the other motivated young professionals from around Anchorage.
RSVP is on a first-to-register basis and is limited to 15 attendees!
Registration closes at 5 pm, the day before the event.
Ryan Binkley
President, Riverboat Discovery and Gold Dredge 8
Ryan is a fourth generation Alaskan who was born and raised in Fairbanks. He spent his childhood in Bethel Alaska, as well as time in Juneau while his father John served in the Alaska Legislature. In 1996 at the age of 18, Ryan earned a 100 ton Masters License and began work as a Captain in his family?s business: The Riverboat Discovery. In 2000 Ryan earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and an Associates Degree in Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. After holding engineering positions with Arco and Veco Engineering, and spending three winters as a freestyle skier in Colorado, Ryan returned home and began working full time for the family business. He took over as President of the Riverboat Discovery and El Dorado Gold mine (now Gold Dredge 8) in 2006 and has served in that capacity ever since. In 2017 Ryan and his siblings formed Binkley Company and purchased the Alaska Dispatch News, the state?s largest daily newspaper, out of bankruptcy. Ryan is active in the community, participating in youth sports, and serves as a Trustee of the Fairbanks Hospital Foundation. Ryan is married to Sabrina and has two young boys: Simon and Clive. Ryan is a licensed pilot and spends his winters flying helicopters and playing hockey.
