Join the Municipality of Anchorage and the Alaska Energy Authority to learn about Anchorage's new financing tool for commercial properties. Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is an innovative financing program that enables owners of commercial and industrial properties to obtain low-cost, long-term financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects and then pay the costs back over time through a voluntary assessment on the property tax. Private financing is repaid as a special property tax assessment by the property owner over the full useful life of the improvements or 20 years, whichever is shorter.
