WHO THEY ARE
Not Just Office Space
While traveling in the lower 48, founder Robin Brena recognized Alaska’s need for an upscale coworking space. After trying to work in yet another substandard hotel business center, Robin decided to give coworking a try. He was impressed by the concept of flexible, no-commitment office spaces and the collaborative atmosphere of the common areas.
His company, RSD Properties, undertook a $3 million overhaul of the four-story property, opening in October of 2021. Thanks to his vision, Cowork by RSD has gained a stellar reputation. We’re known for high-tech amenities, an upscale atmosphere, quality meeting spaces and stellar customer service.
The coworking space was an immediate success. A variety of entrepreneurs took advantage of the flexible office spaces, memberships, and day passes for the common areas by the cozy fire.
“Cowork by RSD provides an important service for people tired of working from home who want a safe community”
WHAT THEY DO
Cowork by RSD is more than just a place to work. They honor the great Alaskan spirit of cooperation. At Cowork by RSD, you will be part of a community all about you.
With member input, they sponsor community programs and encourage our members to participate in co-governance. This ensures that standards guiding our community are met and evolve as needed.
Cowork by RSD encourages collaboration and networking across Alaska. For example, they partner with local organizations and invite guests from Outside to share their work. They contribute to non-profit charities, including academic scholarships for Alaskan students pursuing higher education.
Their monthly “Friday by the Fire” is just one of their networking events.
