American Lung Association Lunch 'n Learn: Communities that Care

The American Lung Association will host a three-part Hybrid Lunch 'n Learn series on April 18th, May 16h, and May 23rd. Lunch will be provided for those attending in person. The series will highlight different organizations in Anchorage working on youth prevention. The series will also highlight Communities that Care an initiative that aims to promote the positive development of children and youth and prevent adolescent problem behavior. It addresses risk and protective factors related to delinquency, suicide, teen pregnancy, alcohol, and other drug use, dropping out of school, and protective factors related to delinquency, suicide, teen pregnancy, alcohol, and other drug use, dropping out of school, and violence by addressing risk and protective factors related to those behaviors.
