Name: 7th Annual Bettye Davis African American Summit
Date: February 28, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM AKST
Event Description:
Rooted in the theme “Bridging Generations for Justice: Honoring Heritage and Empowering Future Leaders,” the summit celebrates the legacy of the late State Senator Bettye Davis and brings together Black Alaskans and communities of color for a day of connection, learning, and collective action.

The day features a voter‑empowerment carnival and panel discussions on immigration, health, education funding, and other key issues shaping Alaska’s future.

Your presence and partnership would bring valuable insight to the day’s conversations. We hope you’ll join us for a day of community, inspiration, and forward momentum.

We look forward to welcoming you and working together toward justice and empowerment.

The weekend kicks off Friday, February 27, at 8 p.m. with a special performance by Grammy Award‑winning artists Club Nouveau at Williwaw.
