2nd Annual Asher Banks Memorial Blood Drive

Nuvision and the Blood Bank of Alaska are teaming up again for the 2nd Annual Asher Banks Memorial Blood Drive. This isn't just another call to donate blood. It's happening Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Nuvision Alaska Financial Center in Anchorage, and it's all about honoring a true fighter, a little boy named Asher Banks who showed us what bravery looks like. We're asking everyone in Alaska who can to come out, roll up a sleeve, and make a difference, to help those facing critical illnesses like Asher did.

Asher, a brave three-year-old, battled leukemia with the courage of a giant. Asher’s journey inspired countless individuals and highlighted the critical importance of blood donations. Following his memorial, a promise was made to honor his legacy by raising the awareness for the urgent need for blood donations in Alaska. This promise materializes through the Asher Banks Memorial Blood Drive, a day when we can all be heroes in our own right.
