The College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, business leaders, and community members to attend the 2026 CBPP Showcase: Democracy in Action.

The annual Showcase celebrates the impact of business, public policy, civic engagement, and leadership throughout Alaska. Guests will have opportunities to connect with CBPP students, faculty, alumni, and community partners; attend sessions exploring issues affecting Alaska; and enjoy an evening of conversation, food, and networking.

Event Schedule:

• 4:00 PM – Doors Open
• 4:30 PM – Opening Remarks, Reception, and Networking
• 5:15 PM – Concurrent Sessions
• 6:15 PM – Featured Program
• 7:10 PM – Event Concludes

All Showcase programming will take place in Rasmuson Hall.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend the event.

Net proceeds will support the College of Business and Public Policy Excellence fund.
General admission tickets are $35 per person. Tax-deductibility is reduced by the value of benefits received: $7.

Requests for a refund or change to ticket purchases must be made prior to the event. Such requests made after the event cannot be honored. 

Participants may not purchase ticket packages via donor-advised funds or private foundations, as those giving mechanisms do not allow for benefits to be received by their donors.
