2025 Military Appreciation Picnic

The Anchorage Chamber’s Military Committee plays a leadership role in strengthening the relationships between the local military and business communities by hosting the largest military appreciation event in the state. The Military Appreciation Picnic, funded in-part by the annual Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser, provides the local business community an opportunity to thank and show their support for service members in the Anchorage area.

The Anchorage Chamber works closely with other military organizations to provide a variety of family fun activities during the afternoon of the picnic, such as competitive sporting events for the adults and face painting as well as bouncy houses for the kids. Each year the Anchorage Chamber coordinates the efforts of 150 volunteers to serve over 5,000 local service members and their families.

Sponsorships are still available, but benefits may differ due to deadlines

Due to the anticipated number of attendees, we need several volunteers to make this event successful. To volunteer, please register for the event. If you need base access, registration is required. Further details will be provided as the date nears. Please contact Brooklynn at events@anchoragechamber.org to coordinate a group.
