Following our 2021 virtual event, the Anchorage Chamber's Young Professionals Group (YPG) is proud to host the 2022 Alaska Young Professionals Summit, a two-day hybrid conference to develop Alaska's workforce and prepare, motivate, and inspire attendees to be informed, productive leaders.

2022 Keynote Speaker

David Norris, Alaskan Athlete

David Norris was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. Skiing was a passion he was able to pursue on the collegiate level at Montana State where he received an undergraduate in accounting and won 2nd place at the NCAA championships in 2014. David continued his education and skiing career at Alaska Pacific University and received his MBA. In 2019, he started Front Range Financial, which created a way for David to remotely provide bookkeeping and accounting services to clients while continuing to pursue his love of skiing. By building his company to fit his lifestyle, David is able to work year round even while ski racing in Europe from November through April. 

Skiing isn’t the only activity David loves, fly fishing and mountain biking are also favorite pastimes. David’s other major accomplishments include earning a U.S. National Championship title in cross country skiing in 2019, and racing at two World Championships for the U.S. Team. Defining that Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop attitude, David is also a three-time winner of the famous Mt. Marathon foot race, and the current course record holder.
